他遭譏反嗆：跟米老鼠踢球嗎

〔自由時報記者卓佳萍／綜合報導〕德國與阿爾及利亞掉入延長賽才分出勝負，賽後記者會德國媒體以質疑的口吻提問，德國後衛梅特沙克反嗆：「你以為我們在跟米老鼠隊踢球嗎？」

德國世界排名明顯比阿國高，德媒不解自家球隊為何贏得如此辛苦，賽後語氣諷刺地詢問球隊，梅特沙克回應：「你想要踢得很優雅卻遭到淘汰嗎？我不知道你想得到什麼答案，這是16強賽，並不是在跟米老鼠隊踢球，現在重要的是，我們踢進8強了。」

此外，23歲的許勒此役替補上場，他在延長賽建功，賽後他承認，那一球有些運氣成分，「這跟3週前我踢進的一球有點像，我相信能進球，但當然運氣還不錯。」

效力於切爾西的許勒，今年曾在英超聯賽中演出帽子戲法，僅花費17分鐘就踢進3球，本屆世界盃他穿著9號球衣上場，是繼2002年世界盃楊克後，第一個進球的德國9號球員。
