連40場奪三振 火球男破紀錄

來自古巴的「火球男」Aroldis Chapman為自己在歷史上留名，12日比賽後援1局飆3K，寫下連續40場出賽奪三振，打破舊紀錄Bruce Sutter的39場，成為大聯盟紀錄保持人。

今天(12日)紅人以6比5險勝海盜，9局上終結者Chapman登板關門，面對第1名打者Jordy Mercer就投出破紀錄的三振，最後用連3K收下本季第20場救援成功。

從2013年的8月21日至今，Chapman寫下連續40場出賽奪三振，打破舊紀錄Bruce Sutter在1977年創下的連續39場。

成為大聯盟紀錄保持人，賽後Chapman透過翻譯表示，「我很榮幸也很高興能夠創造紀錄，追平時就已經惦記在心。很高興辦到了，我祈禱紀錄還可以繼續延續下去。」

Chapman在春訓時臉部遭到球吻，5月中旬才歸隊，目前出賽28場0勝2敗自責分率2.20，22次救援成功機會拿下20次，主投28.2局有57次三振。
