「昨晚我是個白癡！」湖人教頭Mike D'Antoni說。前一晚湖人以90比117敗給太陽後，這位教頭要那些對湖人沒信心的球迷「支持另一支隊伍」。

「我真是失心瘋、氣到極點，」D'Anotni說，「我們打得不好，所以我說了些不該說的話，愚蠢至極，是個大錯誤。」

「我要向大家道歉，希望事情到此為止。我們需要球迷來當球員的後盾，球員們會竭盡所能奮戰。」
