根據USA Today記者Bob Nightengale推特，Alex Rodriguez仲裁結果：禁賽162場。A-Rod第一時間反應是，會上訴聯邦法庭。 Nightengale披露仲裁結果6分鐘後，又在推特報導，A-Rod堅稱沒有使用禁藥，並深信聯邦法庭會推翻162場禁賽決定。A-Rod還說，從一開始就被設計，處於不利地位。 要是仲裁結果沒變，A-Rod禁賽162場，也就是今年整季報銷，那麼洋基隊可以省下2750萬美元，不但有助達成團隊薪資1億8900萬目標，還有更多本錢追逐田中將大。
