NBA官方公布上週東西區最佳球員，西區毫無懸念由雷霆Kevin Durant獲選，東區勝出的則是老鷹前鋒Paul Millsap。

雷帝保持他鬼神般的手感，面對拓荒者狂砍46分5籃板4助攻，雷霆上週4戰全勝，KD因肩傷缺席25日與塞爾提克的比賽，但復出面對76人再度繳出32分14個籃板10助攻大三元演出。

KD在三場出賽裡，平均每場貢獻38分，8.7個籃板和6.3次助攻，投籃命中率64％，連續兩週都獲得肯定，不僅鞏固雷霆在西區的地位，季末獲選年度MVP的前景持續看漲。

西區的Millsap則是帶領老鷹取得3勝1敗戰績，平均每場貢獻21.3分7.3籃板3.8助攻2.5抄截2火鍋，命中率也有不俗的50.8%，其中，他在對決魔術時，單場送出5記火鍋。
