「雷射槍」Ray Allen是熱火擊敗火箭的關鍵，這一點毫無疑問，問題在於，火箭隊為什麼不守他？

「我不知道為什麼我有那麼多空檔。」Allen說。這一戰他攻下25分，其中14分出現在第四節，帶動熱火逆轉。無論在籃下、或是在外線，Allen就是有空檔，火箭球員似乎把他當空氣。

最「經典」的一幕是，Dwyane Wade傳了一記50英尺(約15.2公尺)的助攻，讓人在左翼、無人看管的Allem投進三分球。「那是非常關鍵的一球。」Wade說。

熱火教頭Erik SpoelstraAllen透露，一天前練球時，Allen投了大概1000球。「我得為上場做好準備。」Allen說。
